New Ordinance Affecting Property Owners ![]()
On May 9, 2008, one of the most comprehensive lead poisoning prevention ordinances in the country took effect in the City of San Diego. This ordinance affects property owners, painters, construction worker, parents, certified lead professionals, home improvement stores, and daycare facilities.
Because the most common source of lead hazards is from paint on homes built prior to 1979, this ordinance has several specific requirements that target properties in this category.
Important topics to be covered:
This seminar is presented by the City of San Diego’s Lead Safe Neighborhood Program (LSNP). The LSNP is responsible for all enforcement activities that relate to this ordinance.
It is important that every real estate agent, whether they are representing the buyer or the seller, have a thorough understanding of the forms they are using in a real estate transaction. This course, taught by a real estate Broker/Attoney, will give students detailed information on the four basic contract agreements that residential real estate agents work with on a daily basis:
Students will learn the proper way to complete each of the above contracts, how to answer questions regarding the provisions and how to overcome objections the parties to the transaction might have to these contracts. Students will also gain an understanding of basic contract principles and remedies available to a party if the contract is not properly performed.
