Take Action to Protect National Flood Insurance Program
Congress recently approved a continuing resolution to fund the government for 45 days, including an extension of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) through November 17. With nearly 5 million property owners nationwide who rely on the NFIP for flood insurance, an extended lapse would threaten 1,300 real estate transactions each day.
Help protect our industry by urging your members of Congress to protect the NFIP so we can return to working on long-term reauthorization and needed reforms to this crucial program.
